Alcohol Abuse Prvention Programs

By fully understanding the devastation that alcohol abuse among teenagers causes we can help them avoid this problem and avoid unsafe behaviors. Bears Against Drugs is an alcoholic prevention program that is sponsored by churches and non-profit organizations. It is a program that is offered for students between kindergarten and twelve grade. The B.A.D. program stresses ideas of self-respect, respecting others, and making good choices. It is important to educate the youth about the tragedies that alcohol abuse causes in order to stray them away from a live down that road. Organizations like Bears Against Drugs help parents locate a substance abuse problem at a very early stage, which is helpful because it is easier to stop the earlier the stage that you are at. All in all, it is crucial for society to have programs like Bears Against Drugs in hopes to lead the fight against alcohol and substance abuse.
